Letter from Pastor Nico

 Subject: Compassion report - 2008, January , letter 2/2

Greetings Susan and Frank,

We hope and pray you are both well and have entered the new year with much hope and vision

I wanted to write and thank you once again for the financial contribution you made to our Compassionate ministry through Rich and Lynette.

The money was used for two things:
1. To finance our annual Christmas meal for the destitute. I did not do an exact count of the people who came (I cannot remember if I already wrote to you and gave you an estimate figure: Therefore I would not want to put 'doubt in your mind as to the validity of my report....). However there was a great number and everyone received a hearty meal. We also presented the Christmas message and trust the LORD sowed seeds of truth in each heart.
2. We purchased material needed to set up a 'Chicken run' on the land at Safron Walden. Chicken mesh, nails, locks etc were all purchased and now we just need to get someone with the skills to put up the chicken run structure. The idea is to rear chickens and sell those we can sell. Use some also to feed the orphans. Your gift certainly arrived at the 'GOD time' and we really appreciate your heart and concern for those in our community who are in need of a lift. Please rest assured that what ever help you give is solely and carefully utilized within our Compassionate Ministry. We have a very committed and spiritual group of people within the leadership of this committee.

So Susan and Frank. May GOD bless you mightily this year. May you receive and live within new beginnings as you respond to the Leading of the HOLY SPIRIT.
